Different between Window type AC & Split type AC (Hong Kong)

what is the different between window type air conditioner and Split type air conditioner? 

Window type air con  is suit for small space such as bedroom. It has one unit only,which means the condenser and electric board, fan and other parts are inside one unit. 

Advantage :

- easy to install ( one unit) and easy to repair,  if there is a build in space for it , no scaffolding require      when you install / repair it

- small , save space 

- easy to use 

Disadvantage : 

- noise , because all parts in one unit

-heavy

Split type air con has two units in total, one indoor unit for cool/ hot air bowl out , one outdoor unit for fan, motor and other parts, 

Advantage : 

- Quiet >>because motor and indoor unit is separate . 

- suit for bigger space/ room 

- has larger capacity

Disadvantage :

- not easy to install,

- Take outdoor space

- it might require insurance or scaffolding while installation/ repair
