> first check the remote of your air con , timer mode might be the issues. If this is the case, reset the remote can solve the problem for you. 

> you can also switch off the main power of the air con system, waiting for ten mins and restart the air con again. 

 > Check the error code if you are using daikin / panasonic air con. 

(Daikin: Cancel 5 second > cancel , cancel, cancel ... till to here the long beep sound.)

If you hear your air con making noise suddenly, you should switch off the air con as soon as possible. 

In our experience, it have few reasons cause the noise,

 

> some lose parts

if the fan, the cover or some plastic or screw is not tight enough or if you unit is too old/ ageing it have this problem.

> something stuck inside the machine 

If you are living in the country side, you might find some Gecko / Lizard inside your room, it will go inside your air con sometime, make sure you clean the filter and check the machine regularly to avoid lizard live inside it. Sometime the rust form the coil part will fall in the indoor fan to create the noisy. If you stop the machine can avoid it damage the air con as well.

> the motor of the fan is broken 

If the indoor fan motor broken, the machine will still working but it will create strange noisy while it speeding/moving.

> did not install the water pipe properly

While technician install the new air con,  they should avoid install the water pipe directly to the main dirty water pipe. They can connect it with U-shape trap.

What can I do if my air con won't turn on ?   

1: we should make sure the air con is connect to the power, so check the switch or MCB box. Are they both working. 

 2: Check the battery of the remote control, if the remote is broken, u can buy a replacement one. 

3: If you still can't turn on the air con by the remote, you can find a small button at the indoor unit. It usually local at the bottom right hand side of the indoor unit. 

It is the emergency button for technician to test the air con , it located at:

> Daikin Split air con - bottom right hand side 

> General split air con - under the front cover 

> Gree split air con - under the front cover 

> Pansonic split air con - bottom middle / under front cover 

> Hatichi split air con - under front cover

If you check the power is normal, remote is working, and try the emergency bottom and it still not be able to turn on your air con. 

It could be the reception sensor of is broken, or the electric circuit has problem.
