There are few reasons why your air con
leaks
1: Pipe Stuck > the drainage pipe for
the condensation runoff is blocked, clean the drainage pipe can solve the
problem. You can try the following method,
Steps :
- Open the cover of the air con
- Take out the filter (should clean it
every month)
- Remove whole plastic cover
- Separating the joint of drainage pipe
- Clean / Vacuum drainage pipe
- Seal the joint back together
- Install the cover back
2: AC too dirty > if you open the cover
the air con see the dust and some black dot there, it is the time to clean the
air con.
3: Air con coil part has ice > it is
because the Freon is not enough or leaks.
4: The installation issue / aging pipe
